Deborah Boutelier is a graduate student researcher for the case study "Technological Change and Worker Learning in the Public Sector"
Deborah Boutilier is currently a doctoral candidate in the department of Sociology and Equity Studies at OISE/UT and is currently working as a graduate researcher with Dr. Peter Sawchuk. Using a symbolic interactionist perspective, Deborah's thesis will investigate the formal and informal learning processes that adults use to understand and utilize information technology. Specific emphasis will be placed on the ways in which adults define the social realities that surround the acquisition of skills and knowledge. A former lecturer at Brock University and Niagara College, she holds a Master's degree in Sociology (SUNYAB) and a Master's degree in Education (Brock University).
